Application Process for Directors
The first step is to attend two workshops as an observer. This way, you’ll get an idea of what we do and how we work, and you’ll be better able to decide whether you’re interested in moving forward with the application process. During the third workshop we ask that you actively participate. It is important for you to see the DnA process, but it is equally important for us to see you in action. After that, we will look at your reel and make a decision as to whether you might be a good fit for the group. Once you are accepted, membership is $100. Memberships are renewed twice a year (April and October).

Application Process for Actors
If you are interested in being added to the casting roster for DnA’s workshops, simply send us your headshot and resume and let us know how you heard about us. The majority of our actors come to us through recommendations from member directors, in which case an audition is unnecessary. If you are coming to us without a recommendation, be sure to send us a link to your reel. For directors it’s a chance to practice the craft and for actors it’s basically a free acting workshop – not to mention great exposure to a diverse group of directors!
